1. Bowling. For the first time since 2012, you'll get to see the Mustangs play in a bowl game. The team's hopes of a division and conference title ended unceremoniously against Memphis last weekend, yes. But Saturday against Tulane won't be the final game of the season. Instead, long-time Mustangs like Justin Lawler, Evan Brown, Mason Gentry, Cedric Lancaster, Shelby Walker and Anthony Rhone get to go out with their first taste of a bowl game.
2. Quick turnaround. Most college basketball teams, if they were to return just three players from the previous season, would be in for a long rebuild.
