The three SMU players with the best chances of being picked in the 2019 NFL draft

The 2018 NFL draft is over, with three former SMU Mustangs being selected and two more signing undrafted free agent contracts.

So, naturally, the next thing to do is look ahead to the 2019 NFL draft. Unlike this year, when it was clear that receiver Courtland Sutton would be a highly-touted prospect, there is no home-run draft prospect for next spring. But there are some guys who have a chance to get drafted.

Here's a look at the three most likely candidates.

Jordan Wyatt

Senior cornerback

Wyatt hinted that he was considering leaving for the draft a year early when he declared he'd be returning to SMU after tearing his ACL in the last drive of the regular season.
