When fullback Zach Line signed a free agent deal with the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday, he became the fifth former SMU Mustang on the team. He joined kicker Thomas Morstead, defensive back Sterling Moore, offensive lineman Josh LeRibeus and safety Chris Banjo.
The quintet of former Ponies got together in the Saints locker room on Line's first day in NOLA for a reunion photo that Morestead shared on Twitter.
Line played at SMU from 2009-12. He finished his career tied with Eric Dickerson for the most rushing touchdowns in program history. Line has the second-most rushing yards of all SMU players, behind Dickerson.
