Last week, it was the SMU defense with the slam-dunk turnover celebration. This week, the offense has its own fun training camp celebration.
SMU shared a video on Twitter on Tuesday of a new tradition at SMU practices. Standout wide receiver Courtland Sutton made a diving catch in the end zone with defensive back Cedric Lancaster draped all over him.
When Sutton jumped up from the ground, he ran to grab a bat and hit a "home run" with what looks like a Wiffle ball. The offense seems to have as much with it as the defense does with its trash can dunks.
