On what he feels would have been a fair punishment for SMU's infractions:
"One, I don't want to be lumped in with Louisville. That's a moral issue. Ours was just an online course that wasn't even an SMU course. That's what's so ridiculous about it. The thing with this new coach's responsibility, I don't know how it works. Some alum that I might not even have a relationship with could go up to one of my players and then they are going to blame me for it.
