SMU's Bryson DeChambeau one off the lead entering final round in Phoenix

Ex-SMU golfer Bryson DeChambeau entered the third round of the Phoenix Open tied for the lead at -10. The 24-year-old had shot two straight 5-under 66's entering Saturday.

So did Rickie Fowler, only five years his elder.

Both tried to match each other once again. DeChambeau came up short, but still remains well within striking distance of the title on Sunday.

DeChambeau finished the third round with a 3-under 68, putting him in a three-way tie with Jon Rahm and Chez Reavie at -13.

Fowler shot one better, claiming the sole spot atop the leaderboard entering Sunday with a 4-under 67 (-14).
