SMU's Bryson DeChambeau makes first career hole-in-one a memorable one -- a final-round ace at the Masters

Many golf fans were surprised when Bryson DeChambeau revealed a nugget of information following his opening-round 66 -- a score that had him tied for the lead at -6 after Thursday's play.

"I've never had an ace, ever, unfortunately," he said when asked about a near-ace on No. 16 during his round. "I was hoping it would go in."

DeChambeau, an SMU product, was referring to his close call earlier in the round where he missed a hole-in-one by mere inches.
