There was less conversation about the undefeated American Conference champion Central Florida. UCF won a thrilling double-overtime AAC championship game over Memphis to clinch a 12-0 record. But the Knights were only No. 12 in the final playoff rankings.
SMU wide receiver Courtland Sutton believes that UCF should have gotten more respect from the selection committee for its undefeated season.
"I tell people all the time, our conference doesn't get enough respect.
