Steve Lansdale -- the sideline reporter for the SMU Football Radio Network, which can be heard in Dallas on KTCK (1310 AM) "The Ticket", and the editor and co-publisher of PonyFans.com -- answered SportsDay's questions about the Mustangs this season. Here are the highlights:
Quarterback Ben Hicks has made a lot of progress in his last four games. What do you make of his progression this season?
Lansdale: As offensive coordinator Joe Craddock said in his weekly session with the media, Hicks' completion numbers might be inflated a little because the Mustangs are throwing more screen passes than in years past, many of which are thrown toward wide receiver Trey Quinn, who catches absolutely everything near him and is leading the country in receptions.
