Texas A&M's Kevin Sumlin appeared to be unfazed by a regent's open criticism when the coach held his weekly news conference on Tuesday.
Sumlin said he understood the frustration after Sunday's stunning loss to UCLA that prompted A&M board of regents member Tony Buzbee to publicly lash out at the sixth-year coach. On his Facebook page, Buzbee said he plans on voting for Sumlin's dismissal when the issue next arises on the board.
Sumlin appeared to be disinterested in the open criticism from the board member.
"I'm not in the business of really paying attention to anything outside of this program, or comments, good or bad," Sumlin said.
