With signing day looming, we are running a four-part series looking back at SMU's past four classes.
We continue with the 2015 class:
Best player
WR James Proche -- It would have been easy to go with Braeden West, but Proche has the makings of a monster. Extra attention for Courtland Sutton gave Proche plenty of opportunity to make plays as a redshirt freshman. And he took advantage. Proche made a number of eye-popping grabs and finished the year with 57 receptions for 709 yards and six touchdowns.
Most surprising player
DB Rodney Clemons -- One of SMU's lowest-ranked prospects, Clemons has proved pundits wrong by becoming a key early contributor.
