FRISCO -- Wednesday's Frisco Bowl between SMU and Louisiana Tech will be the last time that standout Mustang receiver Courtland Sutton plays at the collegiate level.
On Monday, SMU quarterback Ben Hicks reflected on his memory playing alongside Sutton the past couple of years.
"Shoot, man, my first touchdown pass of my college career was an 88-yard touchdown pass to Courtland," said Hicks, who made the play in the 2016 season opener against UNT. "I just had to throw it in his direction and he caught it and did the rest. That one's pretty memorable because I come in on a third down and we're at the freaking 10-yard line and I throw Courtland a pass and he takes it 88 yards.
