What's on the line?
With a win, SMU can become bowl eligible for the first time since 2012. The Mustangs reached the five-win mark a season ago but lost the final two games of the year with reaching the six-win plateau generally required to receive an invitation to a bowl game. If the Mustangs can take care of business against Tulsa, they won't have to sweat bowl eligibility and can instead focus on bigger issues like trying to win the American Conference's West Division.
