UNIVERSITY PARK -- Chad Morris did not linger on SMU's win over Tulsa last Friday when addressing his team in the locker room. Sure, the Mustangs had just clinched bowl eligibility for the first time since 2012.
But the head coach had his sights set on the next game, SMU's homecoming date against undefeated Central Florida on Saturday evening.
SMU is 6-2 this season with a 3-1 mark in American Conference play, half a game behind Memphis for the lead in the West Division. With four games to play, including the road trip in two weeks to face the Tigers, SMU controls its own destiny in the division.
