SMU will host Houston Baptist in 2024 for a non-conference football game, the SMU athletic department announced on Monday.
The game will be played at Ford Stadium. The Mustangs are hosting Houston Baptist in the coming 2018 season on Sep. 29.
The newly-announced game is against HBU is the second SMU football game to be scheduled for 2024, when the Mustangs will travel up to Denton to face local rival UNT.
Under new head coach Sonny Dykes, SMU has announced one other future non-conference, a home-and-home series with Louisiana Tech that will take place in 2021 and 2023.
