SMU cornerback Jordan Wyatt to miss spring football following offseason surgeries

UNIVERSITY PARK -- SMU cornerback Jordan Wyatt will miss spring football following offseason surgeries, head coach Sonny Dykes confirmed after Wednesday's practice.

Wyatt tore his ACL on the final drive of SMU's regular-season finale against Tulane and had surgery to repair it. He also had surgery on a partially torn right labrum that he played through much of the 2017 season with.

Wyatt was able to go through conditioning workouts on the sideline on Wednesday with the other injured Mustangs -- safety Mikial Onu, offensive linemen Bryce Wilds and Nick Natour, linebackers Jordon Williams and Noah Spears and receiver Myron Gailliard.
