UNIVERSITY PARK - Cornerback Jordan Wyatt was everywhere in SMU's 58-14 victory over Stephen F. Austin on Saturday.
First, there was his interception at the 8:12 mark of the first quarter. The junior returned that 85 yards for a touchdown.
Then, there he was sacking and stripping SFA quarterback Foster Sawyer in the end zone. Wyatt recovered the fumble himself for a touchdown, the first Mustang to return a fumble for a score since Kevin Pope in 2012.
Wyatt left the game briefly in the second quarter with an injury. Stephen F. Austin scored its first touchdown of the game on the play that Wyatt missed with the injury.
