UNIVERSITY PARK -- SMU cornerback Cedric Lancaster is expected to be out 4-6 weeks with a dislocated right elbow, head coach Chad Morris said at Tuesday's media availability.
The senior Lancaster suffered the injury in the third quarter of SMU's 54-32 win over UNT when his arm got caught in the turf and bent backwards while trying to make a tackle.
"It's disappointing. That's a young man that's a fifth-year senior that's been in this program and has really struggled to stay healthy," Morris said.
Lancaster was in the game because of an ankle injury to starting corner Christian Davis.
