SMU Brushes Past Texas State in College Football’s Most Unique Setting

SAN MARCOS, Texas — Texas State head coach Jake Spavital said in the lead up to Saturday’s game he wasn’t sure when it would start to feel like a real game week. After months of coronavirus, limited practices and protocols, the game itself almost felt like a mirage.
