UNIVERSITY PARK -- Here are some notes and observations from the SMU men's basketball practice on Monday:
--The reason behind the hype of junior Jarrey Foster's offseason was apparent. The Houston-native was tough driving to the rim and finishing through contact with a soft touch. His jumper was iffy at the start of practice but once the team started four-on-four and five-on-five drills it began to fall. Foster played more in the post and showed he's added the strength necessary to bang with power forwards down there. His experience as a guard has helped with his interior passing.
