UNIVERSITY PARK -- SMU men's basketball had its first media availability of the 2017-18 season on Tuesday as the Nov. 10 season opener against UMBC is less than a month away. The Mustangs return senior Ben Emelogu and juniors Shake Milton and Jarrey Foster from last year's team while adding a lot of new faces.
Two of those new faces, forward Akoy Agau and guard William Douglas, currently are not practicing with the team due to medical conditions. Agau, a Georgetown graduate transfer, is dealing with an infection. The freshman Douglas walked around the Crum Basketball Center in a walking boot before undergoing treatment for a left foot injury.
