SMU is showing no signs of slowing down on the recruiting trail, picking up another local recruit on Wednesday.
Royse City athlete Roderick Roberson Jr. announced his commitment to the Mustangs on Twitter Wednesday, the 12th member of SMU's 2019 recruiting class.
"I want to thank all of the staff at Royse City who have coached, trained, educated, and developed me to the man I am today, couldn't have come this far without y'all!" wrote Roberson. "Finally, I am blessed to say I am COMMITTED to Southern Methodist University!"
The 6-foot, 165-pound Roberson plays both free safety and running back.
