Tennessee is closing in on a deal with Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm to fill the Volunteers' head coaching job, WNML's Jimmy Hyams reported.

ESPN and FootballScoop reported earlier that Brohm is the center of Tennessee's focus but did not indicate the two sides were closing in on a deal.
Brohm, the former Western Kentucky coach, led Purdue to a 6-6 record and its first bowl appearance since 2012 in his first year with the program.
