Reports: Former SMU guard Sterling Brown Tased, arrested over parking ticket disagreement

According to WISN-AM, Brown double parked in handicapped spaces at a Walgreen's in Milwaukee. As the Milwaukee Police officers were writing Brown a ticket, the former Mustang allegedly became combative and one of the officers used his Taser before arresting him for resisting arrest.

In a statement to the station, Milwaukee Police Sgt. Timothy Gauerke acknowledged there had been an incident and arrest similar to the description but did not identify Brown.

"Milwaukee Police were conducting a business check around 2:00 a.m. on January 26th at Walgreens located at S. 26th Street and W. National Avenue when they encountered a vehicle parked across two disability parking spaces," the statement read.
