Report: Former SMU center Evan Brown signs undrafted free agent deal with New York Giants

Former SMU center Evan Brown has signed a free agent deal with the New York Giants, according to a report from NFL reporter Charean Williams.

SMU center Evan Brown, a Southlake Carroll product, has signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent. Great place for him to land, and a great UFA for the Giants to get.

Brown started for four seasons at SMU, two at guard and two at center. That flexibility will be helpful as he tries to make the Giants' roster.

The 6-foot-3 Southlake Carroll product went undrafted even after a head-turning SMU pro day in which he recorded a 36-inch vertical jump.
