The Longhorns' recent struggles have been evident in their lack of NFL prospects over the past few years. Texas has produced just one first-round NFL prospect since 2014 — the New England Patriots took defensive tackle Malcom Brown at No. 3 in the 2015 NFL draft.
But that trend may change this spring. According to a mock draft by Bleacher Report draft expert Matt Miller, the Longhorns are on track to have three players taken in the first round.
Miller listed left tackle Connor Williams as the No. 5 pick to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a mock draft he released Monday.
