With spring practices over, SMU football is entering a period where there isn't a ton on the calendar for the team to do together until fall camp starts in August.
So, what next? It's not like the coaching staff and players will be hibernating until the season starts.
Head coach Sonny Dykes elaborated on his plans for the coming weeks during the American Conference coaches call on Wednesday.
"We're meeting this week with players. Position coaches are meeting with players individually," Dykes began. "We're getting geared up to go recruiting."
Dykes will start meeting with some players individually next himself and exchanging feedback with some of the team's leaders.
