Shake Milton was an immediate impact player for SMU last season.
The true freshman earned American Athletic Conference freshman All-Rookie team honors and was a big reason why the Mustangs won 25 games for the third straight year.
Milton will be expected to take on an even bigger role this season with the departure of starting point guard Nic Moore. And NBCSports.com writer Rob Dauster believes he will be one of college basketball's breakout stars.
"Milton averaged 10.5 points and shot 42.6 percent from three as a freshman last season for the Mustangs," Dauster wrote.
