Mr. Irrelevant: Former SMU receiver Trey Quinn picked by Washington with last pick of NFL draft

Mr. Irrelevant is still better than undrafted, right?

Former SMU receiver Trey Quinn was picked by Washington with the final pick of the seventh round of the NFL draft on Saturday. Quinn was taken with the No. 256 overall selection.

Quinn is the second Mustang selected in the 2018 draft, joining fellow receiver Courtland Sutton, who was picked by the Denver Broncos in the second round on Friday. SMU defensive end Justin Lawler was also picked in the seventh round Saturday by the Los Angeles Rams.

In high school, Quinn set the national record for career receptions prior to enrolling at LSU.
