Local links: Southlake, Anna to serve as local U.S. Open qualifying sites; SMU's Haglund earns AAC honor

Hurricane Creek Country Club in Anna and Timarron Country Club in Southlake will serve as U.S. Open local qualifying sites. Hurricane Creek will host its 18-hole qualifier on May 9; Timarron's is set for May 17.

They are among six Texas courses chosen by the U.S. Golf Association, which will stage qualifiers at 111 sites in 43 states from May 2-19.
