After missing 10 consecutive games since mid-January (knee sprain), SMU senior forward Jarrey Foster returned to the lineup for his final game at Moody Coliseum. Foster, playing the 97th game of his SMU career, scored 7 points and grabbed 2 rebounds in 20 minutes of action.
Despite Foster's return, the Mustangs struggled to find consistency on offense without point guard Jimmy Whitt. Jahmal McMurray shot 1 of 7 from 3-point range, but finished with 13 points.
