How TCU's Hail Mary sunk SMU's dreams of an upset

FORT WORTH -- SMU was three seconds away from going into the locker room with a one-point halftime lead over rival TCU. All the Mustangs needed was a stop at their own 38-yard line to go into the tunnels of Amon G. Carter Stadium with a healthy dose of confidence and the advantage over the No. 20 team in the country.

Then TCU quarterback Kenny Hill fired a Hail Mary up into hot, clear air. Horned Frog receiver Jalen Reagor jumped up in the end zone. The four SMU defenders around him remained planted in the white and purple turf.
