UNIVERSITY PARK -- Sixty-one percent of SMU's receiving production sat in the lower rim of Ford Stadium on Wednesday, watching the Mustangs' spring practice.
Courtland Sutton and Trey Quinn were in town for Thursday's pro day and came by practice observe as SMU tries to replace two of the most prolific receivers in the program history.
Of SMU's returning receivers in 2018, only James Proche gained more than 169 yards last season, or caught more than one touchdown pass. It means the group is more or less a blank canvas for new head coach Sonny Dykes and receivers coach David Gru to paint as they see fit.
