UNIVERSITY PARK -- Sunday may be most people's day of rest, but that's not really the case when you're a college football coach in the fall.

SMU head coach Chad Morris gives his staff Sunday mornings off to go to church and spend some time with their families. Then by the afternoon, it's back to the SMU facility to begin work on the game plan for the upcoming opponent.

Truly, SMU starts its game plan for each opponent during the winter. Each assistant is assigned one of the 12 games to study that team's tendencies from the past few seasons before bringing the staff back a report.
