When Kevin Sumlin reflected on Texas A&M's weekend loss to Mississippi State, the coach repeated a comment he made after the Aggies' season-opening loss to UCLA.
During Sumlin's weekly radio show on Monday, he was critical of the team's wide receivers after the team's 35-14 loss to the Bulldogs at home.
"We didn't make one competitive play on the perimeter," Sumlin said. "We just didn't make them. The ball was there."
Sumlin made almost identical comments after the team's 45-44 loss to the Bruins on Sept. 3, when the Aggies had 89 passing yards.
Against Mississippi State, things were a little better.
