What percent chance would you give SMU to win the AAC West?
Grosbard: 15%. Navy and Memphis are the front runners in division, with Memphis holding the tiebreaker after beating Navy this past weekend. Houston could collapse down the stretch if the blowout loss to Tulsa is any indication of things to come. SMU would need to pull off at least one major upset, either against Navy or Memphis, and have tiebreakers in hand for a possible mess at the top of the standings in December.
