How can SMU secondary rebound after being torched in 2015 ?

SMU's biggest hole on defense is quite interesting.

On one hand, the SMU secondary was flat out awful last season, giving up big play after big play on the back end. The Mustangs struggled to defend wide receivers with speed and allowed the opposition to connect vertically far too often.

On the other hand, the SMU secondary was plagued with injuries.
