Five greatest coaches in SMU history, including its only national title winner

SMU has a rich football tradition, so we counted down the top five players at each skill position. Now, it's time to give the guys on the sideline some love.

Our series continues with coaches.

5. Ray Morrison -- Morrison was the first ever head coach at SMU. He brought the forward pass to the southwest, and his teams earned the nickname 'Flying Circus.' He compiled an 82-31-20 record on the Hilltop.

4. Hayden Fry -- Fry didn't have the best record at SMU, but he led the Mustangs to their first SWC title in 18 years.
