Larry Brown may be unemployed, at least temporarily, but the 76-year-old legend's status isn't keeping him off the road.
On Thursday, he was on his way to Kansas, where he'll hang out with one of his favorite pupils, Bill Self. He'll then accompany the team to Kentucky for Saturday's big match between the No. 2 Jayhawks and John Calipari's fourth-ranked Wildcats.
Just one problem.
"I'm not sure where to sit," he said. "I'm close to Cal, too."
The branches of Brown's coaching tree extend everywhere, even world-wide, which pretty much matches the scope of his job search.
