The Dallas Cowboys cut receiver Dez Bryant on Friday, meaning they now have a need for an outside receiver.
Enter Courtland Sutton?
SportsDay expert Dane Brugler tweeted after the release news that the former SMU receiver just became a much more likely target for the Cowboys with the No. 19 pick in the NFL draft in two weeks following Bryant's release.
Sutton himself seemed to sense the possibility with this cryptic tweet following the news of Bryant's release.
Sutton worked out extensively with Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett at SMU's pro day, then reportedly had a private workout scheduled with the team.
