Best of Adam Grosbard: Why SMU doesn't need a Courtland Sutton or Trey Quinn at WR to be successful

A sampling of recent live chats and roundtables concerning the SMU Mustangs and other colleges featuring beat writer Adam Grosbard:

Will WR James Proche have a career year in 2018?

Grosbard: I'd imagine his numbers go up since he has the most experience of any receiver on the roster, even with the addition of Notre Dame grad transfer CJ Sanders. But I'm not sure SMU needs Proche to have a "career year" in the typical definition of the term. The Mustangs are looking for more of a receiver by committee approach, so you don't need Proche to be Courtland Sutton or Trey Quinn.
