After a long hiatus, SMU WR Trey Quinn is finding joy in playing football again

UNIVERSITY PARK -- SMU's leading receiver has gained 265 yards this season, 80 more than any of his teammates. His 17 catches pace the Mustangs by seven.

No, not Courtland Sutton. Trey Quinn.

The new Mustang has become a key cog of the SMU offense in his first three games in blue and red. Sure, he benefits some from the double- and triple-coverages that Sutton draws. Not that Quinn minds.

"I welcome it. I don't think Courtland likes it as much as I do," Quinn says with a wry smile. "He's already got his money. A lot of us have to go out there and make a living for ourselves now.
