Safety
With depth at the position taking some major hits in the offseason, SMU's outlook at safety is trending in the right direction. Trevor Denbow handled the transition from linebacker well this spring, giving the Mustangs a legitimate third option along with Patrick Nelson and Rodney Clemons. The bigger development came recently, when Mansfield product Cam'Ron Jones transferred in from Nebraska.
