The Seton Hall women’s basketball non-conference schedule was released a few weeks ago, and with it comes a few daunting games for head coach Anthony Bozzella and his squad.
Most notably, the University of Connecticut juggernaut team visits Walsh Gymnasium on Dec. 3. A year ago, on Dec. 8, the top-ranked Huskies has the Pirates visit them in a game that saw the Pirates lose by a final of 99-61.
In the NCAA Tournament in 2019, Geno Auriemma’s squad lost in the Final Four to top-seed Notre Dame, who eventually fell to Baylor in the championship. In a down year for the usually dominant Huskies, they will certainly be looking for a revenge tour, and the Pirates stand in the path.
