Women’s basketball dominates on the road, improves to 9-1

The Seton Hall women’s basketball team dominated Liberty on Saturday, winning 92-56 on the road in the first meeting between the teams.

Leading the way for the Pirates was senior Tiffany Jones, who scored 21 points and pulled down six rebounds. Jones got hot early, scoring 10 of her 21 points in the first quarter. She shot 57 percent and hit four threes in seven attempts.

It was an off game for leading scorer Tabitha Richardson-Smith, as she only shot 30 percent and scored nine points. For the season, the senior is averaging almost 17 points per game.
