2021 Ribet Academy wing Tyler Powell announced his commitment to play college basketball at Seton Hall University via Instagram Live on Saturday, Aug. 8. Powell is the second 2021 commit for Seton Hall, joining Ryan Conway who announced his commitment earlier this year.
The California native chose Seton Hall over the likes of Nevada, Pepperdine, UCSB, Washington State, New Mexico, TCU, Stanford and LMU. Assistant coach Grant Billmeier was heavily involved with Powell’s recruitment, and former Pirates guard Pookey Wigington pointed the high school junior in the directio of the Pirates he is an assistant coach at Ribet Academy.
