The Seton Hall women’s basketball team is far from perfect.
The Pirates, halfway through Big East play, boast a disappointing 9-11 record, 2-7 in the conference. They have lost seven of their last eight games, only two of which were decided by single-digits.
The dream of making their third consecutive NCAA tournament seems all but over with nine games left, but despite their losing record, the Pirates have a strong 8-4 record at Walsh Gymnasium this year.
Since the start of conference play, Seton Hall has only dropped home games to the three best teams in the Big East in DePaul, Creighton and Marquette.
