The Seton Hall softball team (19-17-1, 5-6-0) lost a close contest by a score of 4-3 to the Creighton Bluejays (14-22, 5-6) Saturday afternoon in Omaha, Neb. After dropping both games in a Friday doubleheader, the Pirates were looking to salvage the final game of a three-game set. Seton Hall sent sophomore Chrisa Head to the mound to face the Creighton lineup.
The Bluejays got off to a hot start in the bottom of the first, as they strung together three straight RBI doubles to make the score 3-0 early on. In need of a strong response, the heart of the Seton Hall lineup responded in a huge way in the top of the second.
