In Farmingdale, N.Y., this weekend, the Seton Hall Men’s golf team began their 2016-2017 campaign at The Doc Gimmler, taking second in the competition with an overall score of 10 under par.
After the first round of play Friday, the Pirates were in fifth place with Connecticut leading the way. Senior Lloyd Jefferson Go led the way for the Pirates, shooting a 66 on the par 70 course.
The second round had even more in store for the Pirates. They ended Saturday with a 265, featuring four Seton Hall golfers shooting under par.
The day set them up for an interesting third round.
