Seton Hall suspends Ismael Sanogo for violation of team and university rules

Seton Hall's rough week just got rougher.

The program announced Friday senior forward Ismael Sanogo has been suspended "due to a violation of team and University rules" and that he will not play against Manhattan on Saturday.

"Ish has a responsibility to himself and his teammates to abide by all the rules of this university and team," coach Kevin Willard said in a statement. "Hopefully, he will understand the opportunity he has attending Seton Hall University, and he will make the changes he needs to make to be allowed back on this team."

The news comes days after an embarrassing loss to Rutgers which was followed by a saga that saw reports freshman Jordan Walker was leaving the team before cooler heads prevailed and he returned.
